CWR for STIM
STIM administers performance rights in Sweden. Sweden's PRO, outsized thanks to the Swedish songwriting export machine.
History
Founded in 1923, STIM represents a repertoire that punches far above Sweden's population — from ABBA to the Max Martin school that has written a striking share of the modern American pop canon. Its mechanicals run through NCB, the Copenhagen bureau owned by the Nordic societies.
CWR at STIM
STIM initiated the joint copyright database with PRS in 2010 that became ICE — so Swedish registration, like British and German, is really an ICE delivery.
The works database behind STIM is operated by ICE Services (owned by PRS, GEMA, and STIM): your CWR lands in the shared ICE database, and ICE's validation rules are the ones that accept or bounce it. Like nearly every CISAC society, STIM works in the CWR 2.1 / 2.2 era — the versions in production use worldwide since the standard displaced the proprietary registration formats of the 1990s. Per-society delivery profiles do change, so confirm the current version and any local quirks before a first delivery.
