History

Founded in 1977 (taking over from PRS's Hong Kong operations), CASH administers both right types for one of Asia's historic music-industry hubs and the Cantopop repertoire.

CWR at CASH

Foreign catalogs typically arrive via sub-publishers; CASH participates in CISAC's data networks, and local registration is generally built from the CWR your representative holds.

Like nearly every CISAC society, CASH works in the CWR 2.1 / 2.2 era — the versions in production use worldwide since the standard displaced the proprietary registration formats of the 1990s. Per-society delivery profiles do change, so confirm the current version and any local quirks before a first delivery.
