Copyright registration in Argentina

Argentina's DNDA runs one of the region's more active deposit systems: unpublished works can be deposited (renewable 36-month terms), and registration of published works and contracts is standard practice for enforceability under law 11.723.

Setting up to claim publishing rights

SADAIC's legal monopoly means everything runs through it; foreign publishers participate via reciprocal agreements or an Argentine sub-publisher. Local practice expects contracts registered with the DNDA — worth doing properly at signing rather than retroactively.
