History
Founded in 1964, KOMCA was only the second collective management organization for music in Asia, after JASRAC — and as K-pop became a global export, its repertoire became some of the world's most internationally consumed.

Foreign catalogs reach KOMCA through Korean sub-publishers and reciprocal agreements rather than direct CWR intake; your CWR is usually the source document your local partner registers from.
Like nearly every CISAC society, KOMCA works in the CWR 2.1 / 2.2 era — the versions in production use worldwide since the standard displaced the proprietary registration formats of the 1990s. Per-society delivery profiles do change, so confirm the current version and any local quirks before a first delivery.
